There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel's veins, and sinners plunge beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.

                        Journey of a Man

Our destinies are mapped out long before we arrive,
it's no novel thing to God, that long before our birthdates,
in Heaven, we were already alive!

Our parents didn't create us, though together they came
and conceived us, but the journey of a man isn't determined
by conception, or necessarily framed by who our parents are,
our journeys unfold according to the choices we make.

The journey of a man isn't determined by his bank account
large or small, or the amount of friends he has, true or fair
weathered, it isn't determined by the number of enemies, his
net worth, nor a lifelong career, those are factors along the
way, the journey of a man is the choices he makes.

It isn't necessarily how big his house or small his apartment,
for a big house can be an empty shell, and an old shabby house
or small apartment can be an oasis of love; a home.
The difference in what makes either a home or just a house is
how we choose to live under the roof.

A poor man can look back and say, "What a wonderful life I've
had and a wonderful journey this has been," and a rich man
can look back and say, "I can buy anything I want, yet I still
have no sense of purpose; I still have no peace."
A poor man can be full of joy while his rich friend is still trying
  to find it.
Each has his challenges, but their peace and their joy can
probably be measured by the choices they've made.

Closure of one part of our journey is the beginning of the next.
There is always a new chapter to begin, new life to live, a new
highway to travel, and new choices to make.
No matter the road, long or short, bumpy or smooth, winding
or straight, the journey of a man is framed by the choices he
  makes.
